Montessori Infant Community’s central tenet is to provide support and guidance to parents in our community, while creating the best nurturing, respectful and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters the natural blossoming of each child’s hidden potentials.
MIC follows Dr Maria Montessori’s principles by providing an especially prepared environment that meets the inherent needs of infants, toddlers, and primary age children.
MIC offers full-time child developmental care & parental support since 2009.
Entry into MIC is open all year long. New children are usually allocated according to their position on the waiting list. With holistic consideration, the administrative and pedagogical management team position new children in the different groups.
A settling-in period for new children is carefully planned, creating the security needed to gradually reach full day separation from their parents.
MIC meets the quality standard set by canton Zurich as well as AMI (Association Montessori International) and AM(S) (Association Montessori Swiss).
